SLI is nearly salt-free and resistant to hard and salt water with high foaming properties. It is compatible with soap and gives excellent lime-soap dispersibility in order to retard the formation of scum in bar soaps.
Product Performance:
It has limited solubility in soft and hard water. It is stable in formulations at near-neutral pH and room temperature for extended periods of time but will gradually hydrolyse at elevated temperatures.
Applications:Mild and stable weak alkaline product, non-allergic, mainly used for surfactant intermediates, pharmaceutical and daily chemical intermediates, can synthesize sodium coconut oil isethionate and sodium lauryl isethionate , the production of taurine, can also be used for electroplating.
